The birth of COMTEC: a success story from South Westphalia
Our mission began in 1988 in picturesque Finnentrop in the heart of the Sauerland region. At a time when terms such as IT, digitalisation and high-end software were still new, our founder and owner Helmut Nöker already recognised the potential for institutions and facilities. The current managing director thus laid the foundation for the COMTEC resource management system that is established and highly regarded today.

From our humble beginnings to our current role as innovators in resource management, our history is characterised by pivotal moments and breakthroughs. 1988: Foundation
Helmut Nöker founds COMTEC NÖKER GmbH in Finnentrop (Sauerland).
1990 - 1995: Development in the automotive sector
During this phase, the company developed resource management and maintenance solutions for the automotive sector. These solutions were implemented throughout Europe.
1995 - 2000: Expansion to the municipal sector
COMTEC expanded its field of activity to the municipal sector and focussed on the development of resource management solutions. These solutions were widely used in Germany.
2000 - 2010: Ticketing solutions
The further development of resource management solutions for the municipal sector continued and the company expanded its product portfolio to include ticketing solutions. These solutions have simplified the digital management of events.
2010 to date: Continuous expansion and optimisation
In this phase, COMTEC places a particular focus on the continuous expansion and optimisation of its solutions. The company ensures product and service quality in the face of increasing technological requirements and growing complexity. The products will continue to be used in German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland - D-A-CH).
